How an AccessAccom SDA Transformed My Independence

 Before moving to Aqua, I was living in a two-story house with my mum and stepdad, which was not ideal for someone with a physical disability, stairs everywhere.

Moving here has had a huge impact on my independence. I have more independence, more privacy and a lot more opportunities to go out and explore my new surroundings. Aqua is close to almost everything you could possibly need. I have already met some lovely people over my two months living here.

There are two things that I love about my new apartment. The first one is that I now have an accessible kitchen. Everything I use daily is within reach. The other thing is that I can easily get down and sit in my “backyard”, being the nice outdoor courtyard/barbecue area. Once summer/spring hits you bet I’ll be the first to the pool, book in hand.
