Blacktown SDA Accommodation

Looking for SDA Housing in Blacktown? Discover a Place to Feel at Home

Finding the right Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is about much more than finding an accessible property. It’s about finding somewhere that feels like home, a place where you can feel comfortable, supported and confident living life your way.

For NDIS participants looking for SDA housing in Blacktown and Western Sydney, AccessAccom currently has purpose-built accommodation available, with both independent villa living and a small shared home option.

Most importantly, our team takes the time to get to know you, understand what you are looking for and help determine whether a home is genuinely the right fit for you.

SDA vacancies currently available in Blacktown NSW

Our Blacktown SDA homes have been thoughtfully designed to combine accessibility with the comfort, privacy and everyday features you would expect from a modern home. There are currently two different living options available:

Blacktown House

A smaller shared living environment

If you enjoy having others around while still valuing your own privacy, our Blacktown House provides an alternative.

This purpose-built two-bedroom shared home has been designed to create a comfortable and supportive living environment without the scale of a larger group home.

Both bedrooms have their own private ensuite, complemented by spacious communal living, a fully equipped kitchen and a separate breakout room that can be used as a quiet retreat, study or additional living space.

The home also includes provisions for extensive home automation alongside accessible features such as wide doorways and ramps.

Blacktown Villas

Greater independence and your own space

If you’re looking for a more independent living environment, our Blacktown Villas offer the privacy of your own home while still providing access to Onsite Shared Support.

Each villa includes two spacious bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms, a generous living area, fully equipped kitchen and a private, fully fenced outdoor space.

Accessibility has been considered throughout, including wide doorways, ramps and provisions for additional accessibility features.

Located on a quiet suburban street with landscaped gardens, the villas offer a peaceful place to call home while remaining within easy reach of local shops, services and amenities.

Accessible living without losing the feeling of home

Good SDA design should make everyday life easier, but a home shouldn’t feel defined by its accessibility features.

At AccessAccom, we believe accessibility, technology and support should work quietly in the background, helping you enjoy greater independence while your home remains exactly that: your home.

That means considering the things that matter beyond the specifications: privacy, personal space, comfort, location, how you like to live and the people and supports you want around you.

Finding the right home starts with a conversation

Choosing where to live is a big decision, and we don’t believe it should feel like choosing a property from a list.

We want to understand you.

What does a good day at home look like? How much independence and privacy are important to you? What support do you need nearby? Would you prefer your own villa, or does a smaller shared home feel more comfortable?

These conversations help us understand whether we have the right home for you and give you the opportunity to decide whether AccessAccom feels right for you too.

Because finding the right SDA is about finding somewhere you can genuinely call home.

This separation between your home and your support services is important. Where you live shouldn't dictate who you choose to support you.

For people who want to remain connected to Western Sydney, Blacktown provides access to established shopping, healthcare, transport, recreation and community services.

The AccessAccom Blacktown properties are located in a quieter suburban setting while remaining close to everyday amenities. This can provide a valuable balance: somewhere peaceful to come home to without feeling disconnected from the wider community.

Blacktown is also home to facilities such as the Blacktown Disability Sports Centre at Blacktown International Sports Park in Rooty Hill, providing further opportunities for accessible sport, recreation and community participation.

SDA is designed for eligible NDIS participants with significant functional impairment or very high support needs who require specialist housing.

There are different SDA design categories and dwelling types, and the right option will depend on your individual needs, circumstances, funding and preferred way of living.

If you already have SDA funding – or you are currently exploring your eligibility or waiting for an SDA funding decision – you don't need to work everything out alone before contacting us.
