AccessAccom Launches Brand New SDA in Sutherland Shire with Community Celebration at Bayview!

Marking an exciting milestone in inclusive living for the Sutherland Shire, AccessAccom celebrated its brand-new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) apartments at Bayview.

The event welcomed residents, families, support workers, local service providers and special guests to come together in recognition of the thriving community forming around these ten stunning, high physical support apartments. With nine of the apartments already tenanted and just one remaining, the strong demand highlights the urgent need for high-quality, accessible housing in the Shire.

The Bayview SDA is AccessAccom’s first development in the region and its impact is already being felt. Located above a bustling retail precinct and close to transport and community amenities, Bayview offers residents more than just a home — it offers community connection, independence and a true sense of belonging.

We were honoured to welcome several community leaders to the celebration, including Sutherland Shire Mayor Jack Boyd, Federal Member for Cook Simon Kennedy MP and State MP for Cronulla and NSW Liberal Leader Mark Speakman. Their presence underscored the local commitment to building a more inclusive and accessible community for all.

AccessAccom has partnered with Sylvanvale to provide 24/7 onsite shared supports, ensuring residents can live as independently as possible while accessing assistance when they need it. Together, the two organisations are creating not only functional and beautiful homes, but also a strong support network for residents and their families.

“The SDA apartments at Bayview perfectly embody our vision of delivering modern, high-quality housing for people with disability across NSW,” said Matthew Valenti, Managing Director and Founder of AccessAccom“These homes are thoughtfully located within local communities, enabling residents to stay connected with their existing services and support networks. We’re incredibly proud to see tenants turning these stunning, amenity-rich apartments into welcoming and vibrant homes.”

Each apartment is designed to the High Physical Support design standard and features advanced home automation, discreet accessibility features, high quality finishes and secure parking — ensuring comfort, dignity and independence for every resident.

The event was a joyful moment for reflection and celebration, bringing together residents, allied health professionals, local providers and neighbours to share in the success of this unique development.

It was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when great design meets strong partnerships and a shared commitment to inclusion.

As AccessAccom expands further across NSW, Bayview stands as a shining example of what’s possible in the heart of a local community — where people of all abilities can live life on their terms.
